We waited here for a weather window and did a bit of walking on the Island which we haven’t managed to do on previous trips here for one reason or another and trips ashore to Oban on the free Kerrera Ferry

We met up with a couple, Andy and Lesley, who sail a 32ft Westerly and have spent the last few years sailing around the Canaries, mainly La Gomera. It was good to speak to people who have done the things we are hoping to do in the future and get their take on it, also given that they have done it on a boat the same size as ours.
