High Hopes
Unfortunately the overheating alarm sounded again as before
So to cut a longish engineering story short, Gordon removed thermostat, giving us two hours before the overheating alarm would cut in, and we set off from Portree heading towards Mallaig.
Leaving Portree
We reached Mallaig after an eight hour sail in a F6 and surfed in on a wing and a prayer hoping the engine wouldn’t fail at a critical point.
